Lightworks 2012

I am pleased to announce that my film ‘Composition’ has been accepted as part of Lightworks 2012 and willl have its first UK screening on Friday 16th March.

Composition is a meditation on a journey set to an untitled poem written and read by Ian Harker. The film combines hand-processed Super 8 and found footage, some of which has been buried and subjected to natural decomposition.

Lightworks is a diverse international festival of sound, film and installation. The 3rd annual event is taking place on March 16th 2012 in Grimsby.

Lightworks is an annual festival of new media in Grimsby, N E Lincolnshire, UK and is run by staff and students from Grimsby Institute’s HE creative courses. At Lightworks we exhibit sound art, sculpture, installation and film using sites around the inside and outside of Grimsby Minster, as well as other spaces in Grimsby including Abbey Walk Gallery and Gate Gallery.
